This elegant freestanding desk was designed by Arne Vodder for H.P. Hansen in Denmark in the 1960s. Made of richly grained rosewood, it features a rare symmetrical design with drawers on both sides and a fully finished back. The rear side includes an open bookcase and a lockable cabinet, making it perfect for placing in the center of a room. Refined details like sculpted handles, dovetail joints, and tapered legs highlight the high craftsmanship of Danish mid-century design. A timeless and functional statement piece for any interior.
The desk is in overall good vintage condition with expected signs of wear and age. There is a small chip on the edge of one drawer, but overall the piece is well preserved, sturdy, and ready for use.
