A beautiful and authentic pair of original 'Sirocco' safari chairs designed by Arne Norell in the 1960s, made in Sweden. These iconic chairs feature solid rosewood frames, known for their rich grain and deep tone, paired with warm cognac saddle leather seats, backs, and armrests. Designed for easy, screw-free assembly, the chairs reflect the relaxed, functional elegance of Scandinavian modern design. A matching dark wood veneer tabletop is included, fitting perfectly between the two chairs—ideal for use as a side table or magazine rest.
Condition: The chairs are in good vintage condition with charming signs of age. The leather has developed a rich patina, with wear such as creases, fading, and spots throughout. One leather strap shows some cracking (see close-up photo), but the structure remains solid. The rosewood frames are sturdy with minor surface wear consistent with age, showcasing beautiful natural wood grain. The tabletop is in excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of use. A stylish and collectible set with lots of character. The pictures are a part of the description.
